Kelly spent most of her childhood in the PNW living in State Parks as her dad worked as a park ranger. After college her and her husband moved to the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle (where our shop is located) and have been there for over 20 years raising their family and enjoying all the neighborhood has to offer. She has always loved art and being surrounded by creativity which led her to work in several local museum stores. Kelly stumbled into Baleen several years ago on a dog walk and fell in love with the beautiful jewelry and gifts, and really loves that Baleen is a small business with a sustainability mission.
